Ultimate Vocal Remover wont start on Macbook Pro - OS Sequoia

After installing UVR, I get the expected pop-up message saying that the app cannot be opened because Apple cannot be sure that it doesn't contain malware, etc. So I go to System Settings>Privacy & Security and tell it to open the app anyway. After that nothing happens at all; UVR simply will not open, and no more popups.

Next I followed the instructions to use the Terminal command: sudo spctl --master-disable
It returned the following message: Globally disabling the assessment system needs to be confirmed in System Settings.
The only option I see for this under Security is 'Allow applications from,' which I set to 'App Store & Known Developers' (the only option other than App Store.) UVR still won't open.

Any suggestions (aside from just doing the manual installation, of course?) I'm not very experienced or well versed in Python or Terminal level work.

Maybe use the latest UVR Beta Roformer Patch, or find any older which might start working:
