[BUG] Running DS fails with error message

Describe the bug
After first setup Dockstarter does not work properly any longer. When trying to add another app DS terminates with:

Failed to make directory. Failing command: mkdir -p "/.compose.backups" DockSTARTer did not finish running successfully.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Start Dockstarter
Try to either install another app or set environment parameters
DS terminates with error message as above. Also DS -u terminates.

System
OS: Raspberry Pi OS latest version

Additional context
As I am not an experienced user I setup tandoor with Dockstarter and installed Dockstarter on the Pi with no issue. As I now want to add SWAG to the installation I tried to do this with DS but now it fails as described above. I am happy to provide more information as requested if someone can help me. I did not find anything on the error message on the DS website and no real help in the web .
