luggage deletes storage when picked up in any way

Bug Description

i was playing the opolis inc. modpack and when i placed it down, put items in it and picked it up in my inventory and put it down again it deleted my items. afterwards i checked in creative and it also deleted the items when picking it up in your hands. (i had been adviced to report this here by someone that talked to me on the bug channel on the maker of that modpack)

Steps to Reproduce

in game

1. play the game like usual
2. craft luggage, place down and put items in
3. pick it up in your inventory
4. place it down a few minutes later after playing for a little longer
5. everything gone

In creative test world

1. grab logs
2. grab luggage item via same creative inventory
3. place down luggage
4. put in logs
5. pick up in arms by clicking left alt( or whichever button is binded to grabbing it with the carry on mod
6. place down again and all gone

i deleted the modpack so all the client logs are gone as i used curseforge

Im not able to reproduce this in a clean instance with just Luggage, so something else is at play here. I'll test it with the pack soon and see if I can narrow down the cause
