Hey, The thing is right now I am in the middle of kind of revamping the core engine(you can see the gen3/gen2 branch), in them the terrain generation part is mostly done but the texturing part is still mostly left, though I would love to finish up and release ass soon as possible, the amount time I can personally devote has gotten pretty small due to work and other commitments, so to answer your question, Yes there is going to be a release, but as for when, its a bit difficult to say.
