Device Converter not loading

Hi everyone,
I have bought a Foria 18 button scene controller officially supported by zigbee2mqtt addon.

I paired the devices with zigbee2mqtt which failed to recognize it since the manufacturer supported is "_TZE200_dhke3p9w" while mine is "_TZE284_dhke3p9w".

So i followed the documentation and tried adding device support by creating a file named "Foria_18_button_scene_remote.js".
I then placed the file under "/homeassistant/zigbee2mqtt" folder, added external_converters to configuration.yaml file and restarted Zigbee2mqtt addon.

But my device is still not recognized.
Can someone guide me as what i did wrong.

I am facing the same issue. I think that the converters are not loaded... It tried putting a non existing filename and there is no message...

I found something...

converters are to be stored int zigbee2mqtt/external_converters
and no more need for an entry in the configuration.yaml
