Only returning black

I'm just trying this out in a simple page with the colorify.css in the head, colorify.js before the body close, basic config and image. No matter what I do, it only returns black.

What could be causing that?

Same problem. Does anyone have this working. Really frsutrating. Also, is there a way to set the padding to 0? it will let you set it to 1, but when you set it to 0 it uses the default 4px;

1. upload it to the server
2. double check the css and js addresses there are several mistakes in the examples

This issue can happen if you're trying to use an image that you are not hosting on your own web server i.e if you're using an image URL from another website like google etc

Mine was using a locally hosted image.
