Unable to backup Invoke - many 'Access Denied' errors

What happened?

I use 'Beyond Compare' to backup all my S.M. packages to an external HDD. Only Invoke causes troubles here with over 1200 error messages like this one:

I already asked the guys at Invoke.Ai, but they claim they have nothing to do with it and it must come from S.M.

OK, I actually don't understand what is so difficult to simply check this and give a short answer: is this 'access denied' deliberate, or an error?
