Check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
Always include a latest.log if you are crashing
Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue persists.
If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit
Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Describe Issue
Locked maps do not use the new map colors features in Supplementaries. On the screenshot below is a 2x3 map wall; on the left are unlocked 1:1 maps (using the new map colors), on the right are 1:1 locked maps (using vanilla colors).
Note that this is done in 3.1.12 (second version) and not 3.1.13, since 3.1.13 crashes on world load due to a mod compatability issue with the new banner addition (will create a seperate issue).
