Before Continuing:

  • Check you are using the latest version of the mods and its dependencies
  • Always include a latest.log if you are crashing
  • Remove mod that enhances Minecraft: Optifine, Sodium, others. The issue persists.
  • If you are unsure which mod is the culprit.
Disable all of your mods and enable them 1-2 mods each time to isolate the culprit
  • Confirm that there is no existing issue with a similar description submitted in the list of issues.

Describe Issue

When attempting to combine the “Lily” banner pattern from the Epic Knights mod with a flag from Supplementaries, the flag is created, however, rather than the intended result, the flag displays a black and red chequered error pattern. I have tested this with other modded patterns and it works just fine. Is there any way I would be able to resolve this? Possibly creating a compatibility mod if I know what the issue is. Any insight would be massively appreciated.

Cheers.

yeah this isnt much of a bug. flags have unique textures and i cant possibly provide textures for all mods in existance that add banner patterns. we rely on user subitted ones. The mod already has some hundred supported ones

Got you, that makes sense, thank you. How are modded textures for the flag patterns actually created?

With a pixel art program. It mainly involves making the pattern flag sized so smaller and sometimes rotated too
