UX - Color Pairings for Maximum Usability #1082
Comments
@ViciousCycleProductions Thanks for the feedback! I'll take a look at this, perhaps with #1022 for updating the app to switch between light and dark mode too. |
Is anyone working on this ? Can i work on this ? |
@Parwez07 go ahead! |
Hi @amrhossamdev , I noticed that some of the icons in the project are in PNG format and are white by default (e.g., the search icon). Would it be possible to replace these PNG icons with SVGs instead? Using SVGs would provide better scalability, improve performance, and allow for easier customization, such as changing colors dynamically. If this is something the project is open to? Please let me know your thoughts or any preferences regarding this. Looking forward to your response! |
@Parwez07 Sounds good to me! |
Summary:
The usability of the fonts is only an A rating for usability we can easily make it AAA by changing the font color from white to black over the green backgrounds.
Steps to reproduce:
The text is always white/green background so recreating it should be simple.
Expected behavior:
We should design the application for maximum usability therefore the text should be changed to Black/Green background to allow all users to have a better contrast.
Observed behavior:
The current color pairings are only A for usability and can be switched to AAA for usability just by changing to black.
Device and Android version:
Any android version, Any device
