GitHub lets you create markdown templates and fillable forms to help others to report issues in a way that provides enough detail to enable productive debugging.

This would be helpful to have in advance pf a public release so other developers know what information to gather if they experience a problem.

This issue is for helping to track ideas for information we should collect for any bug reports or other templates we want to create.

Template ideas:

  • bug report
  • feature request
  • support (doesnt actually create an issue but redirects to whatever the official support mechanism is, preferably a chat server like matrix or gitter)

Bug Report useful information:

  • c2bluetooth version
  • operating system (ios/android)
  • OS version (16.X.X, android 12.X.X)
  • concept2 PM5 machine the issue happened with (rowerg/skiierg)
  • PM5 hardware revision number (from product information)
  • PM5 firmware revision number (c2 releases fixes all the time for bluetooth stuff it seems like)
