If the GUI is restarted while the ventilator is running, this leads the ventilator to go back to the default GUI settings.
It seems preferable, in case the controller is running (with mode != 0) not to change the controller settings when GUI starts, and make the GUI automatically use the values from the controller side at startup.
How do you know it has to be done
Seems more robust to GUI crashes or even user error, per PR review: #1225 (review)
