Freezes phone on Wiko Cink Five (AOSP 4.1.2)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install app from F-Droid
2. Launch app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected : LED is ON, pressing the back hardware button closes the app and 
turns on the LED.
Instead: LED is ON, screen is black, all buttons are unresponsive, I have to 
remove the battery to reboot the system. Force close by holding back button 
doesn't work. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.3 on a derivative of AOSP 4.1.2 on Wiko Cink Five.
