Creating an open source project by yourself is quite straightforward, but how do you create a dynamic, active and reactive community around it?Barely known in 2019, our case study project, F3D, is now present on all major Linux distributions, has more than 50 contributors and more than 3k stars.By using concrete examples and practical solutions, we will share with you what worked and what painfully failed, in regards to gaining users, contributors and even sponsors, while keeping in mind the most important part, the awesome feeling that is to build a great software with fellow humans.
