Bug summary

I cannot record anything

Steps to reproduce

  • Open Kooha (See screenshot)
  • Click "Record"
  • Kooha will say an error occured while recording (see error)

An error occurred while recording

Caused by:

This happened to me too. I use hyprland.

I don't know if this is related, but I encountered a similar problem with a gstreamer build, and it seemed to come about from a mismatch between builds of gstreamer and libvpx - there's a new release of gstreamer out that solved it for me

I don't know if this is related, but I encountered a similar problem with a gstreamer build, and it seemed to come about from a mismatch between builds of gstreamer and libvpx - there's a new release of gstreamer out that solved it for me

Solved here too on archlinux 💪👍
