##installation

Download compiled .jar and execute it. HomeFlix will ask for a main directory and then restart. Now you can use all functions of HomeFlix.

##Linux if you want play videos out of HomeFLix you must install VLC media player

##streaming
in HomeFlix 0.3.7 plasma bucket a basic streaming support has been integrated. This allows you to sort your favourite streaming title in HomeFLix. The streaming URL and a few other parameters are saved in a .json file.
Here is a example of this file:

##Help

• HomeFlix isn't starting after update
  • delete the config.xml file and start HomeFlix again
• can't choos a main color
  • restart HomeFlix
• HomeFlix hangs or dosen't responde
  • try restarting it and check the movie names
• cann't start HomeFlix under Linux
  • check your Java version. Java 8 update 91 is required
• update doesn't work
  • we changed the update url so you have to download HomeFlix again
• are my settings saved if i'm going to update or reinstall
  • theoretically yes but there are some bugs.
