Course Author has to be registered as administrator?

I manage 5 course authors, none of which should have admin access, or even basic permissions really. There is no need for them to have an admin access other than to their very specific course. I don't want them to see all the users, customers, payments, only the course its self to upload content. Even then, we handle that for them... With Kajabi/Teachable/Podia we were able to add a course author and bio without giving them any permissions... Would love to see this happen.
