Play count migrations from Rhythmbox to Tauon

Hi. I made a tool to migrate play counts from Rhythmbox to Tauon. It’s a one-time thing and it adds all the play counts it can find in Rhythmbox to your play time in Tauon (one to one).

The script copies all play counts it can find in Rhythmbox to the star.p “database”. It may not necessarily match your playlists or your current music catalog. See the wiki for details.

This script is extremely fragile because Tauon doesn’t use a structured database format. It works with Tauon 7.1.3 and Rhythmbox 3.4.4. Don’t expect it to work with other versions of Tauon (Rhythmbox versions 2 and newer should work).

1. Add your Music folder to Tauon first for the best experience.
2. Quit Tauon and Rhythmbox.
