I have had my Elero roller shutter drives running in FHEM for many years. I have no problems with that. But I would like to switch completely to HA. But unfortunately I don't find the address of the USB transmitter. I entered "logger: default: info" in the configuration yaml, but I don't get a serial number from the stick. What am I doing wrong?

after adding

logger:
  default: info

to the configuration.yaml you have to restart HomeAssistant and then check the log. There you should see the following line:

Elero - an Elero Transmitter Stick is found on port: '<serial port>' with serial number: '<serial number>'.

fwiw, maybe someone finds this thread later:

I had the same issue, the stick/serial did not show up in the HA log file (yes, not even on debug, let alone info). I connected the sitck to my laptop (but the ssh addon should work too) and looked into dmesg, there I found the usb SerialNumber. The rest in configuration.yaml worked then as described in the README.

if you still have access to your FHEM-installation, you can get the serial number from there:
