Hello! This sadly can't be implemented currently due to missing functionality in the YTMDesktop API. Should they decide to implement said functionality, I'll consider adding it!

Was looking for this functionality as well -- Sad to hear it's not availble in the API. Is it possible to play a certain track instead of a playlist?

Sadly no. At least AFAIK. Specific tracks and playlists would be kinda the same logic, which is both not available.

But you could try it with an run / open url action from Elgato. YTMDesktop supports custom URI schemes, here's a small explaination:

You can run ytmd://play/<VideoID>/<PlaylistID>. <VideoID> is your desired video id and <PlaylistID> is the playlist id.

At least that's the last thing I remember. I tried using that inside the plugin to simplifying it, but with the current plugin architecture (in javascript) this is not possible, I would have to re-develop the whole plugin in another language and I'm not sure if just one feature would be "worth it".
