Problem
Regarding https://public.dejacode.com/account/register/

Complex and Confusing CAPTCHA Process
Violated usability principles: User Control and Freedom, Error Prevention, Help Users Recognize, Diagnose, and Recover from Errors
The CAPTCHA process used during sign-up relies on solving difficult grouping puzzles with unclear images and instructions. The technical language ("Please click on all entities similar to the following pattern") increases cognitive load and confuses users. When errors occur, feedback is vague and does not provide actionable guidance, making it challenging for users to recover from mistakes

Enhancement benefits
Encourage new users (new visitors) to complete the Sign Up process.

Proposed solution
Allow user to switch to simpler options, such as audio CAPTCHA or a
checkbox verification ("I'm not a robot") bypassing the picture classification exercise.

I am inclined to think that switching to a simple checkbox verification ("I'm not a robot") would be sufficient. Also see related Issue #233
