Adali. I have a PhD in <a href="http://www.ams.jhu.edu/">Applied
Mathematics and Statistics</a> from Johns Hopkins University.<br />
My research interests are Machine Learning and Statistical Pattern
Recognition, specifically dimensionality reduction, manifold
learning and data fusion from disparate data sources. Please see my
CV for my research and teaching experience.<br />

My thesis advisor is Professor <a href="http://www.ams.jhu.edu/~priebe/">Carey
E. Priebe</a> .<br />
<p>My dissertation is on using data from disparate sources in
dissimilarity representation to do joint statistical inference.
<a href="http://www.cis.jhu.edu/~zma/zmisi09.html">Here</a> is a
good introduction by Zhiliang Ma, a previous Ph.D student and my
advisor.</p>
<p>This <a href="http://arxiv.org/abs/1112.5510">paper</a> lays the
foundation for my dissertation work.</p>

My PhD thesis was on joint embedding of disparate dissimilarities for solving various inference tasks such as transfer learning, match detection and graph matching. I have dealt with various issues such as robustness to noise and compared with alternative approaches such as Canonical Correlational Analysis.
