Description

As a developer I want to be able to use the latest packages

Acceptance criteria

  • Convert project to ESM module format
  • Upgrade file-upload to the latest version

Additional Context

The packages that were not ESM compatible have now been updated, so can move to making the switch

Goal is to ensure we can use latest versions of packages such as file-upload
