Using vars in instance names

Hi,

I'm little new to ansible testing with molecule. So might be a small misunderstanding.

I'm creating new instances in my VMware ESXi Cluster, as I'm testing some docker stuff, and docker in docker is not my friend, at least for now.

I have following

platforms:
  - name: "{{ testing_host_ip }}"
    connection_options:
      ansible_user: adminuser

When running e.g. molecule converge it connects as expected, but but the {{ testing_host_ip }} as instance name in output like:

TASK [role : Ensure /opt/ directory exists] ****************************
ok: [{{ testing_host_ip }}]

Is there a way to have this put the IP instead?
I have tried to see if I could do something like.

platforms:
  - name: "molecule-testing-host"
    ansible_host: "{{ testing_host_ip }}"
    connection_options:
      ansible_user: adminuser

But as the molecule-testing-host is not a resolved DNS name, it cannot connect to it.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
