JiuQi is simulating streams with that same video file, so the streams will all look the same from the client-side. This will help JiuQi set up the streams.

I do recall another customer giving us negative feedback on this feature as well. I think this feature is good for some use-cases and bad for others, so a setting probably makes sense.
Tbh I think I want to get rid of the feature altogether. We've since added more features for viewing alerts in videos- heck, we added an entire dashboard.
I think moving UI elements without user input is typically a UX anti-pattern anyways.
The feature was initially added for use-cases when a user had lots of streams. We didn't want streams with alerts to be obscured by being outside the scroll area. If we keep adding features that allow the client to configure which streams to display, this streams with/out alerts feature becomes even less useful.
