XWayland apps flash to focus when using menus in DBeaver running on native Wayland #683

When the extension is enabled, and I have any XWayland app running, then using the menus in DBeaver (Java, SWT, Eclipse) running on native Wayland causes that other XWayland app to flash to the top for a moment. I tested this with KeePassXC (QT) and Postman (Electron) running on XWayland. As soon as I disabled the extension, the problem seems to be gone.

It's not easy to explain this so maybe the screencast would help:
