Auto Type Text?

I've searched for an answer -- but is there a way to input text with a button?

I want to save some useful terminal commands for Linux which I keep needing to type in now and again - such as starting and stopping a docker. I found generic dataentry which sounded promising, but I don't understand a lot of the terminology and couldn't find anything that worked. One tutorial sent me in search of "execute command" option, but I couldn't find it.

Any help, or not a feature as of yet?
