The Binder project makes it possible to start up a live instance of RStudio Server running in your browser that contains the files from a GitHub repository (and the software dependencies already installed). This makes it easy for anyone to interactively run your code.
The R package holepunch generates the necessary configuration files so that an existing R project can be used with Binder.
I recently filed a small bug report on the holepunch repository (karthik/holepunch#43), and told the maintainer about the Collaborative. @karthik agreed to perform a code review and add you as a contributor.
Thus this is an opportunity to experience the full cycle of contributing to an open source project! Fixing the bug will not be too difficult, and I'll mentor you through the entire process. Since this can only be done by one person, this is first-come first-serve. Please reply to this issue if you'd like to take on this challenge.
