Original plan: Form the CoC Committee from members of the SC.

@hainesr and @npch have volunteered to be part of the CFF project's CoC committee. Thanks 🙏!

Additionally, we are looking into inviting one or more additional project-external "ombudspeople" with CoC expertise.

  • @npch, would you like to follow up with the people you have suggested during the meeting (see agenda document in the GDrive), or would you like me to do this?
  • @danielskatz, you had mentioned the members of the US-RSE CoC Committee during the SC meeting on 2023-11-08 in the chat. I'm not sure if this was to suggest inviting one of them as well? If it was, I suggest to discuss further with @npch and @hainesr.

I will update the current CoC document to include Rob and Neil with the contact details you have provided.

I was thinking that these people might be contacted to see if they were interested, as they've shown an interest in CoCs and research software via their US-RSE work.
