On the first load, it worked well. Then when I reloaded the page, the navigation menu on the left no longer displayed. This is with brave browser on linux: And it didn't display the sidebar on the first load in waterfox, then when I reloaded the page, it seemed to not load at all beyond the static preview: I cleared the cache on waterfox and it did attempt to load again beyond the static preview (FYI scripts are enabled) however the navigation menu on the left is still missing: When I press I can open the console if i reload the page and press and in waterfox: Shouldn't there be a fallback to non-webgpu if webgpu isn't supported? Or did it just fall back without logging? |

We have deployed the new Cogent Core documentation website powered by Cogent Content (#1321), providing a more comprehensive set of documentation with extensive wikilinks and many other features. We would gladly appreciate any feedback on the new website and its design and content. (You may need to reload the page a couple of times to get it to update; there should be the Cogent Core icon and a search button in the upper left corner once it updates).
Please note that the documentation is still an ongoing project, and we have dozens more documentation pages planned on key things like window management and generated code. However, we believe that the documentation is substantially better than it was before, and we will continue to make iterative progress on it.
The new documentation structure adopts a more Wikipedia-esque flat content structure with many-to-many categories, so the URLs of almost all pages are now different. However, I implemented an automatic redirection algorithm, so all previous links should still work. Please let me know if you encounter any issues with that.
Please also note that the root Cogent Core organization website (including the blog), along with several other Cogent-related websites, still uses the old pages framework. We will be updating those websites soon.
Now that we have finished this project, we should have more time to dedicate to other Cogent Core improvements, especially those to do with international text (#568), hardware accelerated rendering (#1056), and platform-specific windowing, graphics, and performance issues.
We thank you for your continued feedback and support.
