https://dotty.epfl.ch/docs/internals/best-effort-compilation.html is a feature that lets Scala Compiler to continue despite compiler errors until typer phase. It is aimed to improve the developer experience by providing more information to IDE when source code does not compile. (aka, may be useful for Mill BSP + metals workflow).
