Hide 'Field settings/Copy field handle' menu when field label is hidden #16510

This new menu is great, but it sticks around when you hide a field's label, resulting in big vertical gaps between fields that weren't there before. This is particularly noticeable in inline Matrix blocks. If the menu was hidden when the label was, that would be amazing.
Perhaps the menu itself could sit directly next to the label too?

Thanks for pointing that out! I’ve stopped showing the action menus unless there’s either a visible field label, or the user has enabled the “Show field handles in edit forms” preference, for the next release. (a895194) |
