👍 that would be very useful.

Would it be equally useful for you to use an LDAP search filter on a subtree? For me that would be even more powerful.

So, I can input the password. Where are the username option? Anonymous LDAP Bind are not usual.

@WillianBR: same as with ldapsearch, the username is passed using [-D binddn].
