Some questions for the first use

Hello, I want to use the theai IDE. I have some questions. Would you please answer them.
If I purchase a claud.ai account, can I use all the features of the IDE?
Does it create and code all the files needed for the program requested in the chat?
Can it manipulate and edit the codes to correct errors in the terminal automatically?
Can it run the codes in terminal automatically after coding?

I have been using Windsurf but now I want to migrate to this idea and I expect it to perform similarly. Does it?

thank you for raising you questions!

1. claud.ai => Are you referring to "Claude"? If so, yes, you can use the AI-powered Theia IDE with claude, see https://theia-ide.org/docs/user_ai/#anthropic
2. I believe, the new Coder agent can do what you want, see https://theia-ide.org/docs/theia_coder/ Please be aware that it is currently released as "preview" it will be massivly imporved in the next version that will be released next week, see also: Theia AI G&A - AI-powered Theia IDE alpha - Release epic #14923
3. Automatic error correction is underway, see [Theia AI] Add function to validate a file #14973 , but it is unsure, whther this will make it into the next release or the following one
4. It cannot run code automatically, but we have a terminal assistant, see https://theia-ide.org/docs/user_ai/#terminal-assistance-agent
5. I do not want to directly compare to Windsurf. The AI-powered Theia IDE is currently in experimental and will enter alpha in a week. To my knowledge, Windsurf is a commercial product, we are a fully open source solution. Anybody can contribute ideas and code to make it better!

I reviewed the Terminal assistant in the documentation. Does it mean that it can automatically paste the command to run the code in terminal, check the output, edit the code if necessary, and run it again to check if it has been addressed or not?!

I have another question.
If I purchase a Claude account, can I ask unlimited questions using Claude-Sonnet 3.5 until I have the pro account of Claude?

The terminal assistant can only run terminal commands, it does not look at the output (yet)

To use Theia IDE you need an account the provides access to the API, AFAIK you pay per tokens then.
