How should paths containing consecutive / be handled?
See discussion at #159 (comment)

Common services like GitHub normalize allow arbitrary amount of consecutive / e.g. https://github.com//////////profianinc/////////drawbridge//////blob////main/crates//////app/src/handle.rs/// works just fine and perhaps we should strive to provide similar behavior, which most users will be familiar with.
