Is it possible to use shortcodes to get data from another page

Hello, I'm assessing the potential usage of Doctor in my workflow and I was wondering if you can use shortcodes to get data or list other pages,

What I'm trying to achieve is to have several pages with some properties/tags and other markdown pages to have a shortcode that would fetch all the pages with a certain properties/tag and it would generate that list on the spot. This would heavily increase the maintainability of a wiki in markdown to be afterwards exported via Doctor.
