TODO: Wrap desktop-scale function.
TODO: Organize everything into hooks.
TODO: Idea: automatically place newly opened windows somewhere on plane.
Addition: user toggle whether to automatically pan and focus those windows.
DONE: Keys/commands to resize windows to certain sizes (full/half-screen, etc.)
This will take shape as a sort-of tiling mode.
TODO: Command to adjust window to certain position.
Find window to particular side and align current window to that one.
Offer options for both moving and resizing on each side of the window.
Make quick option for adjusting to the closest window.
TODO: Consider regex or template-string method to have live-updating commands.
Look into StumpWM timers for this.
TODO: Improve window search algorithms.
What needs to be done for this?
DONE: UTF-8 support in bar.
DONE: Automatically fill bar above windows with commands.
TODO: Save window bar strings.
Look into StumpWM state-saving.
DONE: Why do the bars erase all their text sometimes?
DONE: Properly size bar on top of application.
DONE: Improve styling (Change orange wrap-around to another color, etc).
TODO: Next/previous window functions.
Should operate inside view and simply operate on cycle.
Eventually use reinforcement learning to predict the next window.
Also include option for ordering based on focus (like Alt+Tab).
DONE: Properly exit from bar after executing a command.
TODO: Take everything from .thesiswmrc and put into proper files.
Could be split into overview and non-overview functions.
TODO: Fill the bar with spaces to allow for typing anywhere.
Delete spaces on the end to keep it even, and fill it with spaces when
words are deleted.
DONE: Improve maximize function.
DONE: Get rid of cursor when not clicked.
DONE: Right arrow kills window?
TODO: Redraw bar as window is resized.
DONE: Base colors off current color variables.
TODO: Bonus: Refresh current bars.
TODO: K-means clustering
TODO: Tree-style window list bar on the side for seeing which applications are open
(plus more?)
This comes from the tree-style tabs extensions on Firefox, which list many tabs.
TODO: StumpWM echoes "Command T is not found" occasionally when executing on the bar.
TODO: Idea: radially zoom out. So zoom out to bounding box of windows
surrounding current window, then the windows surrounding those, etc.
This would probably be tricky to implement, since it would ideally create
a perfect-ish bounding box of the first n windows around the current center window.
Idea for implementation: get bounding box of (up down left right), then
get the bounding box of the up window for the up window, the down for the down,
etc. So (up^2 down^2 left^2 right^2) ... (up^n down^n left^n right^n)
TODO: Move screen when the window is dragged to the side.
This will need timing to work well.
TODO: Visual mode to select and move windows.
TODO: Allow selecting windows for use as input to a bar function.
e.g. Select windows with Shift+Button1, save those to a buffer, and when
the function is executed, take those windows as input to the function.
Possibly map the function across each for single-window functions, and just
bundle them up into a list for multiple-window functions.
TODO: Finalize bar semantics.
This should entail generating a hash table of each of the "default commands"
that maps the textual representation to the command.
Alternatively, Lisp function names and commands in the user's PATH can be used.
Order should be: hash table, Lisp function, PATH command.
Input to these functions should depend on the type of function
e.g. Anything within Lisp should get the window being clicked on
(or selected windows), while PATH commmands should get some bundle of text
describing the window somehow.
