Hoymiles DTU-Pro-S - Request canceled

Hello,

I'm trying to display the power of a Hoymiles HMS-2000-4T micoinverter in addition to my already existing SENEC-power-plant, in evcc.

The microinverter is linked to a Hoymiles DTU-Pro-S WiFi. The DTU-Pro is linked to my home network via ethernet (IP 192.168.178.100).

I added the DTU-Pro as "gewaechshaus" with the template "hoymiles-opendtu" into my evcc.yaml. In the userinterface I see the following error:

pv 2 power: "http://192.168.178.100:502/api/livedata/sstatus\": net/http: request canceled (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

Evcc is running on MacOSX using homebrew.

Do you have any suggestions, why evcc can not read the DTU-Pro's data? Does somebody else have this problem?

What type of operating system are you running?

Are you sure that the API of the DTU is listening on port 502? This is usually the modbus port, not http...

pv2 ist ein senec-home. Was hat das mit Hoymiles zu tun?

Die Fehlermeldung nennt aber die IP von dem Hoymiles (192.168.178.100), und zwar mit http:// und Port 502.
Vielleicht war der Hoymiles zum Zeitpunkt der Fehlermeldung pv2?

Aber wenn man eh schon die "teure" originale DTU Pro S hat ergjbt es keinen Sinn auf auf Alternativen wie AhoyDTU bzw. OpenDTU auszuweichen.

Gibt es denn konkrete Gründe warum sich die Original Hoymiles DTI Pro S nicht als Datenquelle für EVCC anzapfen läst?

Ich hab hier kein Balkonkraftwerkgebastel sonder eine größre Installation mit 12 x HMT-2250-6T laufen und da will ich ehrlichweise auch gar kein AhoyDTU bzw. OpenDTU nutzen sondern bewust die Originale DTU Pro S.

Der Bedarf nach möglichst vielen Wechselrichterintegrationen ist doch weitrhin da und Hoymiles sollte ja nicht so selten genutzt werden!

Tja ich bin der Kunde der bereits gekauft hat. :-) Und es gab keine Alternative zu den Dingern die ich gekauft habe. Hätte ich auch kaufen müssen wenn ich gewust hätte das es Probleme mit dem Einbinden gibt,.

Wenn ich mich bei Hoymiles melde gibts so sicher eine Schnittstellendoku wie es die lokale API für die Easee Wallboxen gibt ;-)

Einfach mal probieren. Ist immer leicht über die böse Software zu meckern die „das“ nicht kann.
