Like you see, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it just get timeout. I guess that the local enphase envoy isn't responding always that quick, not sure why, but not much that I can do. Is there some way for me to increase this 10s timeout?

I didn't mention, but if I'm trying to access https://192.168.0.196/production.json myself, I get a response in like 2 to 5 seconds, it seems to make two requests exactly at the same time(one for the PV, one for the grid) which probably doesn't help.

your interval seems to be faster than interval: 60s

within the template, there is no timeout defined. So this must be a default of evcc. https://github.com/evcc-io/evcc/blob/master/templates/definition/meter/enphase.yaml

you can try (in a first step) to build a custom meter by adding a timeout. If this works this timeout can be added as a parameter to the template.

I'm really sorry, but I don't know much (yet) about evcc, what do you mean by creating a custom meter?

I must admit that it's kind of above my paygrade, I've zero knowedge of go and its toolchain. I did sponsor the project in the hope of encouraging people to maintain it though

It is just copy&paste (change the name to my_grid)
Use this instead of your actual grid meter.
It has 20s timeout.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say that you were, just that I've no idea about how to "rebuild" and execute a go app.
