When using a home battery it can be useful, to keep the overall current low to reduce dissipation power of the home battery.
Two modes that would be useful for me:
When a charging plan is enabled => Charge with the smallest possible current using the complete time available instead of charging with full current.
For example: Vehicle needs to charge 22kW.
With current plan settings using a 11kW wallbox charging would start 2 hours before charging plan time
With the new option we calculate the aviable timespan from a) plan creation or b) sunset until charging plan time to get the smallest current possible over the highest available timespan.
Without a plan active: repsect the house overall consumption over night
For Example: limit = 3kW
Set the current of the wallbox automatically to (3KW - current house consumption) to keep complete consumption under the limit of 3kW. Like it is done in pv mode.
Why?
Using a home battery its
a) limited to a max current, in my case 4kW, all above that will be consumed from grid
b) The smaller the current, the smaller the dissipation of the house battery (best working point for me is about 1400-1600W), the higher the more dissipation.
