Background colour for composing text in Chrome

In Chrome/Vivaldi, if I enable Wayland text-input-v3 and type Japanese, it shows white text on yellow background, which makes it illegible. I tried to find the colour setting in Addons -> Classic User Interface, but I could not. Which setting controls that background colour?

If I do the same thing in FireFox, I don't get the background colour.

it is a known issue in chrome

they claim that it is fixed upstream 11/2024, not sure which version will ship this.

Thanks. Says it's fixed in 133. My version is 132 (latest in Arch), so I think it will arrive soon.
