Statistics for different spellings of the same name.

I see that some bands are included in the statistics under different names (apparently as they were named in the source), e.g. Motörhead and Motorhead.
However, when I click on the link (see screenshot), I get to the page of general statistics of such bands on LastFM. I.e. LastFM knows how to aggregate such statistics. It would be cool if Last.fm stats could also learn how to do this (for example, how to get summarized statistics from LastFM).

It seems like the last fm api does have an endpoint for this: artist.getCorrection. I think its a nice feature to add but it would increase the loading time drastically since it would require an additional request for each artist. I'll try to have a look at it.
