Exporting a selected PDF page results in a blank image

Describe the bug
When you select an imported PDF page and try to export the selection, only a blank image is returned.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Import some PDF files.
2. Select one of the imported pages.
3. Go to export selected, give it some name and export in any format.
4. Look at export with any program.

Expected behaviour
I would expect the export to contain the PDF's content and any notes I have written onto it.

Does it only happen when exporting a selection (and not when exporting the full file ?).

Does it happen with a pdf file in particular ?

It only happens when exporting a selection, or a certain page, not with a full export.
It didn't work with any PDF file I tried.

can't reproduce it on Manjaro, tested it with the pdf being imported as both bitmap and vector, the export worked as expected. Could you maybe provide information on the other, import/export settings used?

Sure,
I import all pages without adjusting the document layout (horizontal A4) and a page with of 50%. Then I set one page per document page, vector as the import type and that the imported pages should have an edge.

For export, I select the PDF page and click export selection. There disable background and printing optimizations. All export formats give the same result, but I use .png most of the time. Bitmap scaling is set to 1,8 and there is no edge distance.

managed to reproduce it now, but only for 2 page pdfs when exporting the first one. For larger pdfs it worked fine. In the process I stumbled on another bug, where when importing a large pdf a page turned completely black. I used the settings described above.

I should also add that I mostly tried to export single pages.
