the UI is lacking or should be improved.
I like the way tilt can make your writing look more natural. Id like tilt to make the size of the of the tip/pen bigger, just like how you would use a graphite pencil, to color a figure for example.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
A clear and concise description of what the problem is.
There seems to be no Problem, I'm able to retrive the tilt of my pen though a simple modification.
Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.
I'm not sure if this should be an Option in the Developer Options or normal settings, or if it even would need to be explicitly enabled for tilt able pen or if it would crash. There should be at least a simple way to change how tilt changes the size, like how much tilt makes the tip how much percent bigger. Maybe later it would be interesting to add the pressure curves there too
Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
There are no Programs for writing on linux which implement tilt (only krita and gimp) so i would like rnote to be the first. And this feature sure isn't necceserey.

I'm willing to try to implement this when i have the time for it. But i wanted to get feedback on my logic how it should change the tip and if it even is wanted. In the long term it would be great to have a rotating block tip which angle also changes, even though it for sure works with gtk, I'm not sure if the rnote engine is able to safe such pathes.

Hello, it is true that for now tilt/rotation isn't taken into account. For now the size is only modulated by pressure.
You can probably make things work (tweak pressure curves to take into account tilt, or do you want a tilt only mode ?) with the simple path modeling.
Modifications are to be done for the curved path modeling (not sure if tilt/orientation is passed through) and for the modeled path modeling (this is flxzt/ink-stroke-modeler-rs#8, I can do this part, it's mainly that this wasn't used at the time so this wasn't implemented).
Maybe some other things have to change for some structures (as of now, the pressure information is saved in the rnote file) so it would make sense tilt/orientation is added to this
