The ability to zoom using ctrl+ and ctrl- as is possible in most programs. This zoom would probably be best if it's towards the middle of the screen or configurable to select top left corner or similar options as default. This feature would be really handy when using text input.

Are you using the +/- keys on the keypad ?
This should be fixed on the latest main commit (and recent nightlies) since this pr that added the +/- keypad keys for this (it should currently work for the non-keypad +/- keys on your version)
