install for rider

i have dragged and dropped fonts from fonts\otf to windows fonts folder they all installed i can see them in any other text editor but rider cannot see them what am i doing wrong?

Unfortunately, my experience has been that you need static TTF files to make the fonts work in Rider. I have noticed that Windows generally seem to render TTF fonts more crisply, but in this case, I think there is some limitation in JVM that prevents Rider from being able to use the fonts.

I created a ticket for it sometime in last May and was promised that static TTF files would be included in the next release, so keeping my fingers crossed.
