Description

New feature announcements only pop up once so not many people would actually be reading them. As a result, users would forget about the new features very easily and even if they notice them, many would not know how to use. On top of that, the content in the new feature announcement is generic and does not go into detail about how to use the new features. Therefore, we want to add a "New" tag next to the new feature and have a guide popup to remind and show users how to use it.

[DESIGN COMING SOON!!]

Acceptance Criteria

UI Requirements

  • "New" tag is displayed on new features and works for small/mobile screens
  • How-to-use guide is displayed as expected.

Functional Requirements

  • The tag (and possibly how-to-use guide) should go away after a certain amount of time (default to 3 months for now)
