On the note of Shamisen -- something potentially interesting would be to create sprites of him on the shoulders of other characters and then have two versions of those sprites, one animated for Shamisen talking and the other animated for the character talking. Not sure if the game would support that tho, but worth doing one of to see if it works.

Additionally, filling out sprites of existing characters would be cool -- sort of similar to #262, but focused more on poses than outfits.
