Currently, we depend on a patched version of PatchELF. This has been submitted upstream in PR NixOS/patchelf#159 as a partial mitigation of NixOS/patchelf#44.

If the upstream issue is fixed or our PR accepted, change the MPICH examples to use upstream again.
