Short Description

Key Rotation, an advanced feature in Prism's Self-Sovereign Identity Agent. While previously we only allowed key revocation, which meant deleting a key id permanently from a DID document, our new feature allows you to simply rotate or replace the key. This means, in the event of a key compromise, users can change the cryptographic material linked to the key id without needing to alter the key id itself.

Value statement

Embrace an enhanced level of security and convenience with Prism's Key Rotation feature. Our commitment to continuously refining user experience has led us to evolve from mere key revocation to now allowing key rotation. This means that even if your key is compromised, there's no need to disrupt service providers with new key ids. Simply rotate the key and maintain your activities uninterrupted. This new feature further consolidates Prism's promise of providing secure, user-friendly, self-sovereign digital identity management. With Prism, we ensure your security updates are as seamless as possible, enhancing your digital identity management journey.
Allowing additional did methods will also ensure and make our stack easier to maintain and upgrade.
